Covid 19 update

COVID19+Key+messages+for+principals+communicating+with+parents

Please note we are implementing the latest directives from the Department of Education and the Department of Health.

The Harmony Day assembly has been cancelled, the Interschool Cricket Cup and Be Street Smart excursions have also be cancelled as unfortunately has our Senior School camp. We are having staggered lunch/recess breaks so that no more than 500 students are out at any one time. Anybody returning from overseas is asked to self isolate for 14 days.

There are updates sent to schools 3 times a week to ensure we are all kept up to date in this time of rapid change.

For the latest health information and health-related enquiries, refer to the WA Department of Health or access the helpline 1800 020 080.

All our classes have hand sanitisers and we are trying to ensure students regularly practice handwashing protocols. Parent – Caregivers are asked to try and ensure their children wear clean uniforms and have practiced good hygiene practices at home before coming to school.

We are reviewing our workplace learning program to accommodate business needs as well as restricting the number of excursions undertaken this term in particular.

Stay tuned for further updates as they come to hand – often the media may not be the best source of information in some instances.
