Bird Rescue at our Senior Campus

Today we rescued a Tawny Frogmouth Owl – he had been sitting on the Business Centre sign for most of the morning. He looked sick, tired and skinny. He wasn’t too happy – eyes closed – not moving at all.

Thank you to Mr Griffin  for bravely wrapping him in a towel and to Mrs Benstead for putting him safely in a box so I could drive him to wildlife rescue – Native Arc in Bibra Lake.

He definitely came alive when we arrived – nipping at the lady and opening his eyes wide – we could see one eye was severely damaged or blind – Native Arc were very appreciative for us bringing him in….

Kind of cool to be so close to one – we will be updated on his progress!
