Congratulations!!

Congratulations to our two Special Olympians – Ryan (Yr 12) and Oviya (Yr 11).

A huge congratulations to Ryan G for an incredible performance at the Special Olympics Australian National Games 2026 in Melbourne. Ryan achieved gold in the Men’s Division 1 100m with an outstanding time of 12.3 seconds, silver in the 200m, silver in Shot Put, and gold in the WA 4x100m Relay team.

Oviya competed in Netball. Her team also included four ex CCESC students. They were all very excited to win a bronze medal.

Just as inspiring as Ryan’s and Oviya’s success, was the camaraderie among athletes with competitors supporting, encouraging, and celebrating one another throughout the Games.

We are so proud of their achievements!!
